Yes. We return all your original video tapes. Your tapes will be rubber-banded to the new DVD that they were transferred onto.
There is no discount for tapes that are short. The process we use to transfer your memories to DVD is automated to give you the lowest possible price, no matter what length. Only $8.95/tape of 2 hrs or less.
Yes. However, there is an additional charge to combine tapes onto one DVD. The charge is $2.50/tape that is to be combined. The reason, is we have to manually combine the tape instead of using an automated process.
A DVD can hold up to 2 hours of footage without losing quality.

1 VHS tape in SP mode (120min)
4 VHS-C Tapes in SP Mode (30min)
1 8mm Tape in SP Mode (120min)
2 MiniDV Tapes in SP Mode (60min)
1600ft of 8mm Film
1800ft of Super 8mm Film

If there is a section at the beginning or the end, such as TV shows that you do not wish to have on your DVD, we can remove that for no additional charge. However if you need something removed from the middle of the tape, we have to remove that material after the transfer process. That typically is billed by the hour of editing it takes us to complete, but averages to around $25/tape.
Yes. No matter what you are trying to watch we have a way for you to see it. The best part is our equipment rental fee can be applied directly to your transfer order making it absolutely free!
Yes. For a small fee we can make a custom cover and disc, to personalize your new DVD!
Absolutely. We have many customers that ship to us instead of driving to our location, however we cannot be held responsible for items that are lost in the shipping process. We recommend only shipping with a tracking number via FedEx or UPS. We will also ship back to your location via FedEx, if you want to pay for shipping.
Typically we process tape orders (VHS, VHS-C, 8mm & MiniDV) in 1 week or less and film orders (8mm Films & 16mm Films) in 2 weeks or less. During the Holiday Season we are very busy and may need to extend that time table, however we will let you know when to expect your order when you drop off or call us.
Yes. We can repair broken tapes. The fee is a flat $10/tape.
Yes. We can expedite your order for a fee, and in some cases, such as single tape orders, can even have it done later that same day!
No. There is not a lot we can do to improve the quality of your videotape. Sometimes if an image is very dark we can edit it on our computer suite and lighten it a little bit, but more times than not it does not merit the extra costs involved.
Maybe. For a fee we can bring your tape onto our computer and take out distortion in the audio. We can only fix steady audio issues such as tripping or static. We CANNOT however bring voices or songs back that have faded, as we cannot recreate their voices.
No. Commercial movies that have copyright protection (software that prevents duplication) cannot be copied. If you have a commercial tape without this protection, we can legally make you a single backup copy. This is a confusing topic, so feel free to call with any questions. 317-843-9335 Bottom line is we cannot do Disney Movies, as they all have protection.
Yes. However, if you are a novice at video editing then this is often easier said than done. We do not put anything on the DVD that would prevent you from editing it, whether you have the time, hardware, software, skill and patience to edit the DVD is completely in your court.
Yes. For a fee we can make you virtually any file you want. Remember that you can make these files yourself if you have the time, hardware, software, skill and patience. Typical time to convert 1 tape to mp4 file is 1 hour of computer time.
Yes. If you are like us, then you probably have hours and hours of footage you may not want, like countless hours of a soccer field. We can help you edit the footage down and make a special DVD of what you really want.
Yes. Our DVDs play in everything. Make sure you have the correct hardware and software to play on your PC and MAC.
We put whatever your tapes say onto your new DVDs. If you want specific titles we can do that for you, just let us know what you want them to say. Also all our discs are labeled with a professional, state of the art disc printer. No sticky labels here! (those are bad for your players anyways)
$8.95/tape is the lowest price in town, some of our competitors even offer buy so many get 1 free deals, and it still is more than our bottom line pricing. We do however offer a discount on our premium package for over 10 tapes.
Yes. We can convert your PAL VHS tapes to NTSC DVDs. We also can convert your PAL DVDs to NTSC DVDs. If you have another PAL format, we may be able to do it, if you have the original device it was recorded/played in. Call us to discuss in more detail. 317-843-9335
